Dr. Maxwell earned her Masters and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in Illinois. Her Pre-Doctoral training in therapeutic interventions and psychological assessment includes an internship at Park Nicolette Clinic in Minnesota focused on evidenced-based cognitive behavioral therapies and a practicum at Elgin State Mental Hospital in the NGRI unit. After obtaining her degree, she provided psychotherapy and conducted psychological assessments for private practices in Ohio and North Carolina. In addition to her clinical experience, she has 16 + years in higher education working in a variety of positions including teaching clinically focused courses as an Associate Professor of Psychology, supervising clinical student interns, and chairing the Psychology Department at the University of Mount Olive.
Dr. Maxwell provides psychological assessment services for adult diagnosis of depression, anxiety, Bi-polar disorder, ADHD, and other psychological disorders.
