Hi, I'm Cecily Barnaud, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, QMHP). I take great pride in sparking change and helping others regain balance in their lives. I graduated from Arizona State University with my Masters of Social Work after attaining my undergrad in Behavioral Psychology from Dakota Wesleyan University. When I am not working, I am spending time with my husband and our three girls on our ranch. If we aren't outside checking cows, we are likely running around to a sporting event.
I strive to offer a person-centered approach to counseling that is strength based and unique to each client. I believe the foundation for a successful experience in counseling relies on both client and counselor being open, honest, vulnerable, and authentic. I have worked extensively with families, children, adolescents, and young adults throughout my career in residential treatment, community mental heath, and most recently in a school setting.
I have a passion for working with athletes and helping them navigate adversity that comes with being involved in their sport. Are you an athlete that struggles with performance, or issues related to stress or injury? Are you dealing with off-the-field issues like anxiety and/or depression, or family/school/relationship pressure? I can help untangle the mess and learn new skills to minimize their impact.
